How to get here?

Getting to Semal is your first step into the wild. We’re nestled close to the Mukki Gate, Kanha Tiger Reserve, well-connected but perfectly tucked away from the hustle.

By Air

Jabalpur (Dumna Airport): A fantastic alternative option, roughly 190 km away. The drive takes about 4 hours.

Raipur (Swami Vivekananda Airport): If you’re flying into Chhattisgarh, Raipur is about 180 km from us. It’s roughly a 4-hour road trip, which is great if you want to soak in more of Central India along the way.

The major airport is Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur (NAG), about 6 hours away (250 km). We can easily arrange a comfortable cab to pick you up right from the arrivals gate.

By Train

Gondia Junction is the closest railway station. With good roads and a smooth drive, it takes just 2.5 hours (150 km) to reach us.

Nagpur Junction is the most convenient railway station, with excellent connectivity to major cities across India. The scenic drive from the station to the homestay takes roughly 6 hours.

By Road

If you love a good road trip, the drive here is smooth and beautiful. We’re easily accessible via the NH44 highway.

From Raipur: It’s a straight, breezy drive of about 180 km.

From Jabalpur: Expect a scenic 180 km drive through central India’s heartland.
